Dear Dr. Berger,

Phillip and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for our family. As I reflect over the last 3 years, I realize what an incredible journey our family has taken. In May 2004, after much deliberation, we came to you for a tubal reversal. We had been researching and weighing our options as to how we could make our dream of a baby come true. Countless nights we wondered if in-vitro or the reversal would be best. Eventually we realized that our best option was the reversal and your expertise was what we needed. So, we had the tubal reversal in May. Just a couple months later, we were pregnant and ecstatic. But, fate was not on our side. We lost that baby and 3 more over the next 2 years. We were frustrated and losing hope but still knew that our decision had been the right one.

In late October 2006, we were pregnant (for the 5th time) and seriously cautious. It was difficult not to be excited, but each week that went by was a new milestone. We were careful not to tell anyone so that the disappointment would not be as bad for everyone else. Still, we were making our way into the pregnancy.

Now, I sit here looking at my new son, Truman Loyd, and thank God for you, Dr. Berger and your awesome skill! You could never imagine how blessed we feel and we owe a great deal of our appreciation to you.
