Hello Dr. Berger,

I wanted to share the miracle of life that you gave to Rodger and me. RJ was born 2 weeks before his EDD and he weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 20 inches long. It was good they induced me because before he was born and after they broke my water, his heart rate went down really low. It took 1 hr after they broke my water and my sister went to get my doctor. When he was born the cord was wrapped around his neck which was very scary. His Apgar scores were 7-9. He is so precious and such a joy. Rodger can't wait to get home to him and hold him.

As you probably know, Rodger is deployed in Iraq and he missed the birth of our son. On my birthday last week, I received an email from the Sgt Major who sent it to all the wives and the Subject Line was 90 DAYS LEFT. He wrote that the Command only has 90 days left and that the Command that will be replacing them will be there in 70 days. It brought joy to my heart knowing that it is almost time for Rodger to come home.

I want to thank you for doing a wonderful job letting us have something so beautiful between Rodger and me. May God Bless you for doing this, not only in our lives but everyone that you have done this for. Your staff deserves this as well. Thank you again.
