The day I had my tubal reversal, April 4, 2005 is a day I'll never forget. Any fears we had totally disappeared the moment we stepped into Dr. Berger's office. Every single person at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center made us feel so welcome and at ease. Before I knew it, I was coming out of surgery and Dr. Berger was telling me that my tube lengths were 5.5 and 6.5. Recovery went remarkably well, and I felt like myself again about 2 weeks later.
We started trying to conceive the following month using nothing else but an ovulation predictor kit to find our fertile days. On June 1, 2005, to our amazment, we got our BFP.
My pregnancy was wonderful. I cherished every little movement and kick. At 20 weeks we had an ultrasound and found out we were having a girl and on January 27, 2006 we welcomed our beautiful daughter Chesney Rae into this world. She is an absolute joy to our entire family and I still feel like I'm dreaming!
I could never thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for giving us the greatest gift ever, the gift of life. We are truly blessed and forever grateful!
