Dearest Dr. Berger and Staff,
Well.....He is finally here! Rick Anthony was born on June 12th, 2006 at 5:49 PM. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. He is considered to be a big boy because he was born at just 35 weeks! And...... I did not have gestational diabetes. Isn't that amazing! Anyhow, he is doing great and will be coming home soon. Possibly tomorrow. Because he was a little early the doctors are keeping a close eye on him for a few days, although it seems like weeks and weeks to my husband and me. We just can't wait to bring him home.
Anyhow, I will send more pics when I can. Thanks again for being such a big part of this miracle that we now hold in my arms. We love him so much and he has blessed our lives beyond what I could ever express.
