Hi Dr Berger,

This is Cathy S. and I had my TR on June 3rd. I just wanted to give you a post surgical update on everything. First and foremost thank you to you and your staff at Chapel Hill, you all are very talented, caring, wonderful people.

I was an extremely nervous patient and you all really helped to make me feel comfortable. This surgical experience was by far the best and by best I mean least traumatic I have ever experienced and my recovery has been truly easy. I am 4 weeks post-op today and feel really like I didn't have surgery at all. My incision looks like it will heal nicely and even appears to be fading already.

I wanted to tell you that on June 27th my first menstrual cycle after surgery started and I did not experience any of the pain that had been occurring to my left side. I think I took a dose of Advil once for some minor menstrual cramping. I guess the removal of that scar tissue to that side really is going to help with the pain I had been having and for that alone I send you a million thanks.

Continue to do the terrific work that you do and again thank you for taking such good care of us all and I hope in short time I can report even better news to you.
