Hi Dr. Berger,

The last time spoke I had just come home from having an HSG and determined both tubes were blocked. We went in the next month and performed it again and we have one tube that is damaged from scar (I'm sure from the tubal ligation, itself). The tube on my right side was open and must have just been a spasm the month before.

We started Clomid after my next cycle and my ovary on the side with the damaged tube produced two follicles. So, we waited until the next month and took Clomid again and again we had two follicles but this time on the right side. We had a IUI performed on June 8 and 9. We had a positive HCG pregnancy test on June 22. I will going for an ultrasound on July 5 to make sure it is in the uterus.

I was beginning to think this would never happen for us. I know you were not part of the end result but without your performing the reversal we could have never gotten here. Thank you.

I will stay in touch as time progresses and let you know how things are going. Again, thank you and your staff for everything. Without you this dream would not have come true.

I wanted to let you know that I miscarried on July 4. Unfortunately we did not make it to the ultrasound to make sure it wasn't in the tube. We will try again when the time is right and I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for you support.

Being a single mom was not what I had in mind when I had the tubal reversal performed.   Susan R.
