Letter to Dr. Berger mailed 5-11-2002

Dear Dr. Berger and staff,

I wanted to let you know we made it home Friday...what a plane trip (yuck!). I went back to work yesterday and was quite exhausted last evening. I am amazed at how good I feel considering the procedure was only a week ago.

I want you all to know that I truly appreciate the great care I received from your entire staff. I never felt the IV, never even had a bruise where it was. Dr. Fry must have done a superb job as well as because I don't remember even going to sleep. My incision is only slightly swollen, and the bruising is so minimal...I have never had surgery without horrible bruising, I am amazed! The lady who did my ultrasound also visited me at the hotel, she was so kind (I apologize I am so horrible with names), and my nurse who did my IV called me the day after that to check and answered all my questions. You all are such a blessing to Andy and I.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for such a fantastic job of taking care of my body and my spirit. I could not have asked for a better surgeon or medical staff.
