Dear Dr. Berger and all the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center:

Today is February 13, 2002. Exactly one year ago that we flew to Chapel Hill for our tubal reversal performed by Dr. Berger on February 14, 2001. I cannot express how comfortable we were with the integrity, professionalism and manners of all the staff. From the receptionist to the nurses and anesthesiologists. Most of all, Dr. Berger's bedside manner, exceptional concern and unsurpassed talent brought such ease to both of us.

My husband, Jim and I were married on June 1, 2001 and immediately set-out to conceive a child; as we are both over forty years of age. In October, an outpatient hysterosalpingogram at our local hospital confirmed that the tubal reversal was very successful, as both tubes are fully open and consistent in diameter.

Today is very special for two reasons: The first anniversary of a successful tubal reversal and confirmation of pregnancy! We did it! I couldn't wait to get this letter out to you and to your readers. I know the frustration of trying to prove the success rate of the reversal and subsequent pregnancy for someone my age.
