Subject: Tubal reversal pregnancy baby #2 is here!

tubal reversal baby Jacob Alexander came into the world on May 13, 2003 at12:27 am. He weighed 6 lb.15 oz. and 19.6 inches. I went in for my usual checkup on Monday and I was 70-80% effaced and 2 going on 3cms. Doc sent me for a non-stress test because I have only been gain 1/4 at each visit for the last 3 or so weeks. Well I got to the hospital and they hooked me up and blah blah blah.........the nurse noticed a deceleration in the heartrate during a contraction and you can probably guess the rest. I had to stay longer and be monitored. I tried to tell the nurse it was probably just from my hunger pains, but she wouldn't bite. I even played down the contractions when she asked me if I felt them, no go. I begged to go home and said I would promise to come back in an hour or so, that didn't work either. I knew I should have went home first and finished all I needed to do( like pack my bag)!! They admitted me at 5:30pm. Doc came in around 6ish and broke my water. Now I was starting to get nervous. He said if they see anymore signs of deceleration ( I only had that one) they might have to do a c-section. Well I lost it then. Balled my eyes out!!! Too early in the game to even be thinking about that as far as I was concerned. Well things turned out well, most of it anyway. I did have to have the epidural done twice because it did not take the first time....now that hurt!!!!!! I managed to get thru it and push Jacob out with only 2 tries and no episiotomy!!!Yeah!!!!!!! I feel pretty good.

He really is a good baby. He sleeps,eats, poos, and the cycle starts all over again. I am truly blessed. All my prayers were answered. I got a healthy baby, easy delivery, and a fast recovery. Not to mention a beautiful baby boy. Thanks again to Dr. Berger and all the staff for making it possible. Gosh it was so easy this time, I might even have another one!!!!
