Subject: Thanks!
I had my tubal reversal done on December 27, 2002. I just have a few comments.
To begin with, I wanted to tell everyone thanks for being so nice and professional. A lot of doctors and medical professionals think each person is just a "patient". But, it was different there. I really felt like you all cared for my needs and I was more than just a "patient". I was nervous, but my fears were calmed.
The first time I had surgery, done at a different facility, I felt awful after I woke up and it took me 2-3 days just to get good and awake and feeling better. I was extremely sore the first time. I felt like my gut was stapled to my toenails. I was really dreading another surgery because of that. This time when I woke up I felt totally different. I slept for maybe 3 hours after, and then I was up walking around and watching television. I could not believe the difference. It has been a little over a week since my tubal reversal. I am back at school and thinking about starting karate back in about a week.
I wanted to say thanks! Of course, I have no news yet, but we are going to be trying very soon. I will keep you posted. I will be more than happy to be a reference to anyone that is thinking of coming to you.
The best news Dr. Berger told me was that I had a pretty good chance of getting pregnant. I only have one tube and it is 4 cm. long. But, that's all I need, is one. I am holding on to my possibility of having another child. I have more of a chance now than before I came. I have prayed before and after coming there. I really felt like it was meant for me to come there.
I am thankful that God works through Dr. Berger to help people like us. Now, I am leaving the rest to God, because that is all I can do. Thanks for everything and I will keep you posted.
