Dr. Berger and Staff,
My name is Michelle and I was a patient back in March of 2002. After undergoing the tubal legation surgery I was expecting to be pregnant very quickly. Wrong! I can't tell you how much time and money I spent on ovulation kits and pregnancy test.
After 1 year and 8 months my husband Brian and I had the shock of our lives...we were pregnant. We were so happy, I was calling everyone at midnight to let them know! It goes to say once you quit trying so hard it happens.
My doctor here in Springfield, Rochelle Durrough, completely knew my history and when I called to tell her the good news she immediately scheduled an ultra sound. The egg was not far enough into my uterus and they were 75% for sure I had a tubal pregnancy. I went for an ultra sound every 2-3 days expecting the worse. At my 2 month visit a team of Radiologist and every staff member of Physicians for Women ruled out the tubal pregnancy. The egg had moved. My husband and I was so relieved and felt tremendously blessed.
I am only 29 yrs old and had 2 children by the time I was 19 , so with those pregnancies being a breeze I was assuming this one would be as well. Don't underestimate Mother Nature. I was the drama queen of pregnancy with everyday vomiting, swollen from head to toe, heartburn, preclampsia, false labor, you name it. Everyday, however, I thanked you and your staff for having the technology and for making this possible.
My husband Brian and I had a healthy baby boy on July 21, 2004 and named him Brian Shay. He weighed lbs.. and 5 oz. and was 20.5 inches. He is absolutely perfect and is a very happy baby.
