Our Pride and Joy – Testimonial #809

Friday, April 17th, 2009

“You are a blessing to all who come to your facility. My husband and I am very grateful. May God bless you for all the hope you give to others.”

Dr. Berger, here is our pride and joy - Michael Patrick.Posted April 18th, 2009

Dear Dr. Berger -

Here is our pride and joy! He was 6 pounds even and 20 inches long. We delivered Michael Patrick on March 7th at 6:45 pm by c-section. He decided to turn his head at the last minute and couldn’t come down. Everything went perfect though. The only upset was for little Shawn. He wanted to know when the nurses were going to bathe his little brother and he kept on them until 9:30 that night!

We thank GOD for leading us to you – you are a blessing to all who come to your facility.

I only have 10 weeks left until my due date. The pregnancy has been good for the most part; I have SPD which is very painful. I am managing the pain, although getting dressed seems to be my hardest task. I go in to have one last ultrasound for my 32nd week. The tests for Down syndrome were clear.

My husband and I am very grateful to you and your staff. You are in our prayers and may God continue to bless you for all the hope you give to others. Oh yeah! We are having a boy – this makes #4!

Blessing and Purpose – Testimonial #726

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

“Elizabeth is such a blessing. She has a purpose.”

Elizabeth is a blessing to our family and to all of those around us.
Our 18 year old son, Kelli, and twin 15 year old daughters, Amber and Tia have loved Elizabeth completely and without reservation from the moment of her birth.

My name is Sheryl and I live in Michigan. I am writing to let you know what a difference Dr. Berger and your team made in our lives!

In May of 2005 I had my tubal reversal done at your facility. Although the next 2 years were difficult (we had multiple losses and a ruptured ectopic), we persevered and were pregnant again in fall of 2006. We delivered our baby girl, Elizabeth, March 12, 2007. She was born via c/s 2 weeks earlier than we had scheduled and we found out in recovery that she has Down syndrome. My husband, Joby, is 39 and I am 38 years old so we knew there was an increased risk, but we were shocked nonetheless. However, we loved her from the start!

I have an 18 year old son, Kelli, and twin 15 year old daughters, Amber and Tia. They have loved Elizabeth completely and without reservation from the moment of her birth. She has touched everyone she has come into contact with. At the age of 5 months she had to have open heart surgery to repair 2 major holes (a vsd and an asd) in her heart. So many people contacted us during that time to tell us how they were concerned! She has taught everyone around us compassion, empathy, and courage! It is discussed in the high school that my kids attend and in our community. She is a blessing to our family and to all of those around us.

I tell you all of this because without Dr. Berger and your team, Elizabeth would not be part of our lives. I firmly believe this. It took us finding your web page to feel completely confident we were going thru with the TR. Your staff was incredible and everything was such a great experience!

Elizabeth is already such a blessing, and I believe she was born with DS for a reason. Someday she will achieve remarkable things and/or touch someone in a remarkable way that changes them for the better (even though we may never know it). She has a purpose.

Thank you again! You have also been a blessing in our lives.
