In 1999, my husband and I felt as though our family was complete so we made the decision to have a tubal ligation. Immediately following surgery, I knew I had made the wrong decision and lived with it for almost seven years. In January of 2006, we decided to explore our options and I came across Dr. Berger’s Web site. I was soon scheduled for February 13, 2006. And that is when our journey began.

I had a Pomeroy tubal ligation in 1999 and Dr. Berger was able to repair my tubes to lengths of 7 and 5.5 cm. Our experience before, during and after the procedure was absolutely amazing. The staff at CHTRC is so caring and competent!

I became pregnant the first cycle after my TR. Unfortunately, it ended in an ectopic pregnancy and I had methotrexate. I did not lose my tube. We then continued to try for a few months and I had an HSG to determine if my tubes were open. My OB sadly informed me that they had become blocked and IVF was my only option. I notified Dr. Berger and he requested to view my films. He recommended that I repeat the test. I did just that to find my tubes were wide open and I became pregnant two months later. Unfortunately, once again my pregnancy ended, as I miscarried at 10 weeks. My husband and I then decided to enjoy one another and put trying to conceive on the back burner and let nature take its course.

Much to our surprise, no medications, ovulation tests or procedures, I was once again pregnant. I just delivered a beautiful baby girl, Allie Marie, on June 11, 2008.

I can’t thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for their dedication and compassion. He and his staff remained in contact via emails and phone calls. I don’t know where else you could go and have such committed follow up even two + years later. They are truly amazing.

In September of 1999 I had a tubal ligation, and was told I would never have children again. Little did I know then that 9 years later I would have 2 more beautiful babies!

I had my TR with Dr. Berger on November 5, 2004, a month and a half later I had a BFP, which gave us our first TR baby, Carson (now 2 1/2)! Then, July 24, 2007 we got our 2nd (SURPRISE) BFP that gave us our 2nd TR baby, Arleigh (11 days old)!

When we researched and found CHTRC, we thought it was too good to be true! Even after arriving in Chapel Hill, I was waiting for Dateline to jump out and say we were scammed! Could a Doctor and an office be so kind, loving, helpful, and actually put me back together? We are living proof……. Dr. Berger and his staff do God’s work in that office!

I love to tell our story. It amazes everyone, even me! We could never thank Dr. B. and the staff at CHTRC enough for all they have done for us and for all they have given us!

Arleigh is 6 mo and is spoiled rotten.

Carson just turned 3 and LOVES Spongebob and Handy Manny.

They are the loves of all our lives. We thank God and you for our angels everyday!

Hello Julia and all wonderful staff at CHTRC -

It has taken me a while but I’m here to say a BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Berger and his staff for making our dreams of parenthood come alive again.

My husband and I are proud parents of a darling baby girl, born February 1, 2008. I visited Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center in November 2004. With 2 cm tubal lengths on both sides and reaching the wonderful age 33 back then, I just figured our chances were slim to none, but with a lot of prayer,TLC, and the wonders of Dr. Berger, four years later we are overjoyed with little miss Jadyn Larae.

The buzz in the OR during delivery was what a great job Dr. Berger did!
