Today I look at my baby and I still can't believe she is mine and she is finally here. subject: My Miracle Baby

I had my reversal back on June 21,2004. It has been an overwhelming journey but worth every single tear in the end. On November 28, 2005 at 9:11 pm my true miracle baby girl was born. She weighed in at 5 lbs. 13 oz. and 18 in. long. I would like you to add this to your testimonial page. Maybe my story can give some of the ladies new hope.

I got my first positive pregnancy test just one month after my tubal reversal. This ended in the rupture and loss of my right tube due to an ectopic that wasn't followed up correctly by my doctor. I again became pregnant immediately after only for it to be once again an ectopic on my one and only remaining tube (left). This was caught early enough that I was able to have the methotrexate shot. I had very little hope after this but my husband never let me give hope. Well, to my surprise, six months later I was pregnant again. My first hcg was pretty high but for my second draw they did not double. A few days later I started spotting and I was devastated. My doctor did an us at his office and could not see anything in my uterus even though my hcg was over 2600. He then decided to treat this one as an ectopic also and schedule me for surgery to remove my tube and my hope of ever having a baby with my husband. The morning of the surgery my husband demanded that they do another us this time at the hospital and sure enough there was my baby, safe and sound in my uterus! I have never cried so many tears of joy.

Today I look at my baby and I still can't believe she is mine and she is finally here. So ladies, it is possible to have a healthy pregnancy after an ectopic. Keep the faith and never loose hope. Dr. Berger is truly God's gift to women and my husband and I could never thank him enough for making this dream possible.
