"Our "Happy Little Girl" and even more good news – We’re pregnant again"

Happy little girl. Dear Dr. Berger:

I was a patient of yours and had tubal reversal surgery on August 1, 2003. You told us that one tube was shorter than the other but we still had a good chance to have children. Unfortunately, I did have a tubular pregnancy which required surgery to remove it back in November of 2003. Shortly after I had a miscarriage. But hope still was in our favor since I knew I didn’t have a problem getting pregnant.

Then - finally a successful pregnancy - we gave birth to a healthy baby girl on December 27, 2004. She weighed 7 lbs 5.5 oz and 20 inches long and we wanted to send pictures of this "Happy Little Girl". We named her Dakota Jean. I have never seen such a happy baby, not just because she’s mine. She really is a joy to be with. She’s 8 ½ months old now and going to be a big sister too!

Yes, even more good news – we’re pregnant again and due May 12, 2006. We’ll let you know how this pregnancy goes. So far, we’re both doing well and I don’t expect anything less. We will keep you informed in the months to come.

I can’t thank you enough – words can’t tell you how happy you have made our family.
