I am 45 years old had my tubal ligation 18 years ago. I am starting a new life again with a man i adore. I have 5 children from my previous marriage but my fiance has never had any children. I am in good health having no issues but being over fourty and having my tubes tied so long ago is it just a dream to want to try to have a child now? I'd really like to know what the chances of me getting pregnant after tubal ligation reversal would be.

Did you wonder when it was taking a year to get pregnant? I got my reversal October 1st 2008 and I still have not gotten pregnant. Did you get a hsg to make sure your tubes were still open or did you just wait?

TOYA - Burned tubes can be reversed. It is certainly possible to become pregnant with only one tube. At age 29 your chance of getting pregnant after tubal ligation reversal is high. We do not accept insurance payments directly. You will have to check with your insurance carrier to see if you will receive insurance reimbursement for a tubal reversal procedure.

Hello - I am 29 years old and my tubes have been tied 7 years. My husband and I are newly married and want to become pregnant. We have decided to have my tubes reversed but one of them had to be burned because it tore during surgery. What I want to know is can the burned tube be repaired and how? And will I still have a good chance of getting pregnant with only one tube? And my final question is if my insurance covers this procedure do you accept UHC?

MADELYN - It is certainly possible to have a tubal ligation reversal and have another child after having the fallopian tubes tied and burned. The length of time since your tubal ligation is not that important. Your current age is what is most important in predicting the success of repairing your fallopian tubes.

Hi. I just turned 42 yrs old and am a newly wed. My husband is 58 1/2 and simply the love of my life. I have a 20 yr. old and had my tubes tied, burned, and clipped for 11 yrs now. I am also a grandmother (young I might add) lol. I want to have a baby with my new husband. He has one son (31) yrs of age. I am scared as I read the success rates of women my age. I am in fairly good health, as is my husband, with the exception of the fact he has hypertension, which is under control because I try to cook our food with very limited salt. After reading and hearing so many wonderful stories I have decided to take a chance and try TR. It sounds like a great idea. Me and my husband have been talking about this for awhile but he didn't want to put me through any pain and suffering. He doesn’t have kids. Hello Proud Parents, This video made my tears come down my face. I had a Tubal Ligation back in 1998. All these years I have been regretting the fact that I had this procedure done.
