Hi Laura,

I understand you were trying to reach me for my 12 month follow up after my tubal reversal surgery. Everything is going well – Jason and I had a baby boy on October 17th, so we’ve been a little busy!
His name is Morgan Matthew. He weighed 5lbs. 1 oz. and came via c-section. All is well here and WE’RE VERY THANKFUL for the wonderful experience we had with Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center – the nurses were fantastic! I’ve attached a picture of Morgan so you can see what Dr. Berger’s fine work made possible.

Jason and I are thrilled with our newest member of the family! This wouldn’t have been possible for us without your help and my Ob/Gyn, Dr. Chan. He was really impressed with Dr. Berger’s work. He couldn’t say enough about it! Morgan came by C-Section so I guess Dr. Chan took a look while he had the chance and with our positive feedback about the whole experience. He used to refer women to a hospital in Hamilton Ontario for tubal reversals, but when I contacted them before deciding to come to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, Jason and I were told we would face with no stats to support a positive outcome. Dr. Chan has now directed almost a dozen women to your clinic for tubal reversal surgery since we were there! I think one just went in October for the reversal surgery.

Words can’t express the joy you’ve brought our entire family.

Dr. Berger, I cannot think of how to thank you enough for the amazing work that you do. On October 16 I delivered a beautiful baby girl. Your extremely gifted hands have allowed my husband and I to grow our family in a way that we thought was never possible again.

I cannot tell you the number of women that I have run into since you did my TR in June 07 that have regretted their TL decision and are completely surprised that the chance to have the tubal ligation reversed exists. In fact just while I was in the hospital once the word got out that our Olivia is a TR baby I had a few extra nurses visit me just to see the proof for themselves and to get your information.

I had my reversal in September of 2007, got a positive pregnancy test in January of 2008, and on September 9th 2008 delivered a beautiful full term 6lb 12 oz baby boy, Daven.

I would just like to thank Doctor Berger and his wonderful staff for this blessing that I never thought was even possible. Now, I have this miracle baby and I am so proud. I could never thank Dr. Berger enough for performing this surgery so that people like me can correct such a big mistake. Thanks so much!!

Daven is such a wonderful blessing! A lot of my friends and family members were skeptical about the reversal and I got a lot of “words of wisdom” to not “get my hopes up” but the more research that I completed, the better I felt about the surgery and when I discovered your clinic, something just felt right about it. I just had a wonderful feeling through the whole process because of the outstanding care I received from you and your staff. I was treated as if my reversal was meaningful and important and that made a big difference to me, especially since I had my reversal while my husband was deployed overseas. I really felt as if I was “alone” because of his absence. But, my nurse made me feel safe, at ease, and less alone. It was a wonderful experience that I will be proud to tell my baby about when he is older.

Another Berger Baby!!! I had my tubal reversal in July 2005. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on July 14, 2008. He weighed 8lbs 12.9 oz and was perfect in every way. Charles Michael II (Mikey) has been a perfect addition to our family.

Dear Dr. Berger and staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center,

My husband and I wanted to write to you and thank you so much for everything you did to make our family more complete. By allowing us to give birth to a healthy baby boy, we will be forever grateful.

My husband and I wanted to have another baby, but didn’t know where to turn. Then I discovered you on the internet. The staff at Chapel Hill was very informative and helpful thru the whole process. The whole experience was wonderful, from the ride from the airport to the wonderful people at the hotel. Everyone at the clinic was great while we were there and the next morning after surgery everyone took really good care of my husband and me. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

We started trying about 7-8 months after we got home. I got pregnant soon after that. Unfortunately it was a tubal pregnancy and I lost it, but the great news is we got pregnant within a month. Everything went really well with the pregnancy and now we have a wonderful baby boy in our lives.

Every time I tell people I had a tubal reversal they just don’t know what to say. We live in a really small town and it’s just not heard of. I was my doctor’s first patient to have the procedure done. Now that people see it really works, I have them asking me all kinds of questions because they are considering it.

And as of June 24th 2008 we are the proud parents and siblings of Edward [Eddy] Allen Houston. Thank you again for everything you do and for making so many people’s dreams come true.

On April 7, 2006 I had my reversal and despite two miscarriages and only one tube staying open, on January 24, 2008 I had my little boy. His name is Jesus Armando. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long.

He is truly a miracle baby. After having my tubes tied for 12 years. I wasn’t even sure it would work. I just wanted to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for my little Angel Baby.

In 1999, my husband and I felt as though our family was complete so we made the decision to have a tubal ligation. Immediately following surgery, I knew I had made the wrong decision and lived with it for almost seven years. In January of 2006, we decided to explore our options and I came across Dr. Berger’s Web site. I was soon scheduled for February 13, 2006. And that is when our journey began.

I had a Pomeroy tubal ligation in 1999 and Dr. Berger was able to repair my tubes to lengths of 7 and 5.5 cm. Our experience before, during and after the procedure was absolutely amazing. The staff at CHTRC is so caring and competent!

I became pregnant the first cycle after my TR. Unfortunately, it ended in an ectopic pregnancy and I had methotrexate. I did not lose my tube. We then continued to try for a few months and I had an HSG to determine if my tubes were open. My OB sadly informed me that they had become blocked and IVF was my only option. I notified Dr. Berger and he requested to view my films. He recommended that I repeat the test. I did just that to find my tubes were wide open and I became pregnant two months later. Unfortunately, once again my pregnancy ended, as I miscarried at 10 weeks. My husband and I then decided to enjoy one another and put trying to conceive on the back burner and let nature take its course.

Much to our surprise, no medications, ovulation tests or procedures, I was once again pregnant. I just delivered a beautiful baby girl, Allie Marie, on June 11, 2008.

I can’t thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for their dedication and compassion. He and his staff remained in contact via emails and phone calls. I don’t know where else you could go and have such committed follow up even two + years later. They are truly amazing.

My family is truly grateful for the gift that you have given to us. At the age of 22, we decided that two kids were enough and I had my tubes tied. Four years later to the day, I began to regret that choice. My husband was in Iraq and he called home when I decided to spring the news to him that I wanted another baby. He was a bit puzzled, but did not hesitate to agree. We searched the Web far and wide until I heard about you through someone I knew. She had two TR babies because of you. I just knew that you were my answer.

One month after making that choice, on March 9, 2007, I was there in your office with my husband still in Iraq, to get all “fixed” up. Upon his return we started trying to conceive. I was pregnant instantly; however, that ended in a tubal. I lost my right tube and was disheartened. But I did not give up. We tried again. I had a miscarriage. We kept trying – never giving up. On September 3, 2007, I got my third and FINAL BFP. I began the pregnancy cautiously optimistic. This was my sticky bean I had been waiting for.

April 19, 2008, Garrett Conner was born at 36 weeks – 5 lbs and 9 ozs, 21 inches long. He is a healthy, beautiful little boy who’s growing like a weed.

Had it not been for you and your staff, he would not have completed our family and been our miracle.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our baby girl, KaraLeena Alyssia!  She was born on May 27, 2008 at 5:09 pm, weighing seven pounds and nine ounces, and was 19 inches long.  She is very healthy and beautiful.

We had our tubal reversal procedure performed by Dr. Berger on October 3, 2006, and got pregnant in December 2006, but miscarried.  We tried again in the late summer of 2007 and used an ovulation kit. We were pregnant again in September 2007 and now we have our  ‘lil punkin’ with us!

What a joy!  What a miracle!
