Dr. Berger & Staff… We want to thank you for the gift of life that you gave us. We had our TR surgery on September 10, 2007. With in 6 months I had a positive pregnancy test. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage. By September of 2008 I had my 2nd positive pregnancy test. My husband and I were so excited, we knew this just had to be the one.

On May 15, 2009 we had our beautiful, perfect, precious little girl. Dasia (pronounced “day-sha”) Dawn. She weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and was 19 in long. If we had were able to pick and choose exactly how we wanted her, we couldn’t have made a more perfect baby! She is the love of our life, and our miracle baby!

Our first tubal reversal baby is now 18 months! How perfect can this be? I never thought I would ever have the gift again of holding a newborn and creating another beautiful life. Dr. Berger, you have brought so much joy to our lives. Thank you again for this beautiful gift!! This is a very memorable experience. My husband was deployed at the time of the tubal reversal surgery date and you helped us provide a letter to his command to get him home for the surgery. I have never known a doctor to take so much time and consideration in their patients. I also remember after my surgery you came out and talked to me to reassure me. After a week I was having severe pain and you said to come right in and you immediately saw me.

You are a wonderful person. God bless you and your staff for all that you do!! We are looking forward to TR baby #2 soon! We will keep you posted.

Dear Dr. Berger,

My 47th birthday was on April 4th and the best present I received was from you. Because of the work that you and your staff perform at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, I was able to celebrate my 47th birthday with my 3 month old son, Cole Alexander, who was born on January 6th of this year.

After my tubal ligation in March of 2004, I never thought I would feel the warmth of a small baby’s body on my chest, or kiss daily the fat rosy cheeks and toes of a newborn.

I had my tubal reversal performed on November 12, 2007 and seven months later, I was pregnant with my third child. Cole is a beautiful and healthy baby. While I had complications with my pregnancy, it was totally due to my own health issues and not my age. I had the same problems when I gave birth to my other two children at ages 29 and 41.

I would be honored to have you share my story. I was really inspired to have my tubal reversal even though I was 45 years old primarily because of the wonderful postings I read on your message boards. I read them on a daily basis before my procedure and continued to do so after my surgery. Your Center has the best website regarding this procedure, and more importantly about how women feel about the process, that I have seen.

I sincerely hope that my success story (giving birth 3 months before my 47th birthday) will be a source of inspiration to others. I hope that the women over 40 years old will read it and continue to have faith that miracle can still happen, even after 45.

Our new bundle of joy is now home from the hospital. Malia Hope was born on March 13th at 9:26am. She weighed 8lbs and 2oz and was 21 inches long. Hi Dr. Berger,

We just wanted to let you know about the arrival of our new addition. Anna Mackenzie was born January 4th 2009. We came to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center for our TR in July 2007. I found out I was pregnant 2 months after the reversal, but had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. I did a test in May 2008, and it was positive!

I just wanted to thank you again for completing my surgery and making me whole again. Without you I would not be celebrating my little man’s first birthday today. You did my tubal reversal on 4/10/07 and I got my first BFP on my birthday 7/12/07 and my son was born on 3/12/08.

When my husband and I started to have our family, we were faced with many obstacles. After two miscarriages, we were fortunate to have our two daughters, Camryn and Riley, born less than one year apart. After two more miscarriages and a health crisis in the family, we decided to have my tubes “tied”. You forget how quickly the body and heart heal and very soon after the ligation, I regretted it. To make matters worse, I developed PTLS. Every period was agonizing. I started to do research online and found Dr. Berger.

On October 3, 2005, Dr. Berger performed my tubal reversal. We became pregnant 3 months after surgery but unfortunately, we lost the baby at 10 weeks. It took almost another year to get pregnant but when we did – it was a keeper! I gave birth to my TR baby, Major, on November 20, 2007. We now know our family is complete and are still so grateful to Dr. Berger for giving us hope and possibility in 2005 that became a reality with the birth of our son – who is now a very active 15 month old!
