“We want to thank Dr. Berger and staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center for changing my life.”
Posted July 28th, 2008

We want to thank Dr. Berger and the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center for changing my life and bringing our son Scott to this world this 8th of July, 2008. Scott is a blessing and a continuous joy to our family, even with our two boys already.
I had my tubal reversal in July 2007 and this marks my one year anniversary! I was told by other centers that there wasn’t any hope other than in vitro option. We almost gave up until we looked at Dr. Berger’s Tubal Reversal Center as our last resort.
It’s a miracle what he has done for me because I was too young when I made such a decision for a tubal when I was only 26. It is truly a blessing that I found Dr. Berger. I do not know how to fully express my sincere “Thank you”!
Thank you so much and we pray that your center and staff will continue to prosper in the coming years!

“Our daughter has arrived…Our family has truly been blessed with this little girl!”
Posted July 21, 2008
Our daughter has arrived!! Jazlyn Marie joined our family July 7, 2008 at 12:43 pm. She weighed 8 lbs and was 20″ long. She has a head full of hair and passed all her newborn tests with no concern! She was delivered via cesarean section. Recovery has been pretty smooth and it has been very nice to have all the help I have gotten.
Justin is just head over heels in love with his daughter and adjusting to all the new changes that come along with having a newborn. The boys, Caden and Braden, are so very proud to have a new sister added to our family! They love her and just adore every little thing about her.
I still look at her in such amazement, that WOW, we have our little angel here with us. What a miracle! After two miscarriages, I was pretty much paranoid throughout this pregnancy, and knew I wouldn’t stop until I was holding the newest love of my life in my arms! Our family has truly been blessed with this little girl!
We’ll keep you all updated on our little family!

Early into my relationship with my husband I found out how important it was to him to have children of his own. Although he was a great “Dad” already to my 2 young boys I knew getting a reversal was something we would look into in our future. After a year of marriage we spoke so often of me getting a tubal reversal. After researching online, we came across Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center . I was so afraid. We were looking for someone to do an operation on me….online!! I decided we should look and speak to local doctors. We were then referred to an Infertility doctor. Months then went on as we were just completely unsure of what to do. It would be twice as expensive to have the procedure done locally than it would to go with the “Dr” we had found online that specializes in TRs. Finally we made our decision, December 2006, we scheduled our TR with Dr. Gary Berger for January 8, 2007!!
January 8, 2007 came faster than we expected! We were all so excited yet nervous! Arriving with the other couples to CHTRC was nice, we were definitely not alone! The staff at the hotel, the driver, CHTRC staff and Dr. Gary Berger we amazing! All fears were completely gone and we felt comfort in knowing we did make the right decision!! Dr. Berger told us with our age, we were both 27 at the time of the TR, we should be pregnant within the first year of TR. Boy was he wrong! I’m sure I’m not the only one to say that; and not in a bad way! We got our first positive home pregnancy test just after one “cycle” after TR, yep, within the first month (Feb. 2007)!!! We were so excited! Although it ended in miscarriage (March 2007), I found comfort in knowing that “WE CAN GET PREGNANT!” The following month, we found out we got a gift from the Easter Bunny too, April 7, 2007 we got our 2nd positive home pregnancy test. Again it ended in miscarriage (end of April 2007), being I try my hardest to find the positive in all things, I dealt with another loss knowing BOTH TUBES ARE OPEN. It was time we took a break from our TTC bus and allow my body to heal from TR and 2 miscarriages.
In August of 2007 we decided it was time to start our TTC journey once again! After a few short months of TTC we found out we again were pregnant!! November 4, 2007 was our lucky day, we got our 3rd positive home pregnancy test!! Trying not to get too excited was probably the only problem I had at the beginning of our pregnancy! We saw our baby’s heart beat at 8 weeks and 2 days and there it was.

“I just delivered a beautiful baby girl June 11, 2008.”
Posted July 19, 2008
In 1999, my husband and I felt as though our family was complete so we made the decision to have a tubal ligation. Immediately following surgery, I knew I had made the wrong decision and lived with it for almost seven years. In January of 2006, we decided to explore our options and I came across Dr. Berger’s Web site. I was soon scheduled for February 13, 2006. And that is when our journey began.
I had a Pomeroy tubal ligation in 1999 and Dr. Berger was able to repair my tubes to lengths of 7 and 5.5 cm. Our experience before, during and after the procedure was absolutely amazing. The staff at CHTRC is so caring and competent!
I became pregnant the first cycle after my TR. Unfortunately, it ended in an ectopic pregnancy and I had methotrexate. I did not lose my tube. We then continued to try for a few months and I had an HSG to determine if my tubes were open. My OB sadly informed me that they had become blocked and IVF was my only option. I notified Dr. Berger and he requested to view my films. He recommended that I repeat the test. I did just that to find my tubes were wide open and I became pregnant two months later. Unfortunately, once again my pregnancy ended, as I miscarried at 10 weeks. My husband and I then decided to enjoy one another and put trying to conceive on the back burner and let nature take its course.
Much to our surprise, no medications, ovulation tests or procedures, I was once again pregnant. I just delivered a beautiful baby girl, Allie Marie, on June 11, 2008.
I can’t thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for their dedication and compassion. He and his staff remained in contact via emails and phone calls. I don’t know where else you could go and have such committed follow up even two + years later. They are truly amazing.
Thank you all,
Lori P.

“Our tubal reversal journey began on September 6, 2007 when we came to Chapel Hill hoping for our miracle.”
Posted July 17, 2008
Thank you so much Chapel Hill for my daughter Carly, born May 13, 2008!
Our tubal reversal journey began on September 6, 2007 when we came to Chapel Hill hoping for our miracle. After a successful surgery, I left with 7 on the right and 5.5 on the left - we immediately began trying to conceive. We had two miscarriages, and began to give up hope until September 10, 2007 when I finally got another positive pregnancy test. Nine short months later, we welcomed our third child and TR miracle into this world.
In life we receive no guarantee on anything; however, I will admit I felt pretty confident about the surgery after meeting Dr. Berger and his excellent staff. I will never forget the exceptional experience of having been part of Chapel Hill and receiving the gift of a second chance. Thank you all so much for giving our family this wonderful addition!
For anyone seeking a tubal reversal - look no further than Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. You will not find a more professional, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and wonderful group of professionals that are sincerely interested in both helping woman feel whole and having a second chance at motherhood.
God Bless you all.

“Had it not been for you and your staff, Garrett would not have completed our family and been our miracle.”
Posted July 6, 2008
My family is truly grateful for the gift that you have given to us. At the age of 22, we decided that two kids were enough and I had my tubes tied. Four years later to the day, I began to regret that choice. My husband was in Iraq and he called home when I decided to spring the news to him that I wanted another baby. He was a bit puzzled, but did not hesitate to agree. We searched the Web far and wide until I heard about you through someone I knew. She had two TR babies because of you. I just knew that you were my answer.
One month after making that choice, on March 9, 2007, I was there in your office with my husband still in Iraq, to get all “fixed” up. Upon his return we started trying to conceive. I was pregnant instantly; however, that ended in a tubal. I lost my right tube and was disheartened. But I did not give up. We tried again. I had a miscarriage. We kept trying - never giving up. On September 3, 2007, I got my third and FINAL BFP. I began the pregnancy cautiously optimistic. This was my sticky bean I had been waiting for.
April 19, 2008, Garrett Conner was born at 36 weeks - 5 lbs and 9 ozs, 21 inches long. He is a healthy, beautiful little boy who’s growing like a weed.
Had it not been for you and your staff, he would not have completed our family and been our miracle.
THANK YOU FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS AT CHAPEL HILL,
Bradley, Athena, David, Katie and Garrett A.

“Thank you again for our tubal reversal miracle, born a year after my Ob/Gyn told me that I would NEVER be able to get pregnant spontaneously.”
Posted June 6th, 2008
Dr. Berger -
We just want to thank you again for our tubal reversal miracle, Isabel Nicole. She was born on May 19, 2008 at 12:48 pm, just about a year after my Ob/Gyn told me that with my elevated FSH, I would NEVER be able to get pregnant spontaneously.
We just kept remembering your words…”if you are having regular cycles and ovulating, you CAN get pregnant”. No truer words were ever spoken, and my doctor was speechless when I called him to tell him we were pregnant and needed monitoring and ultrasounds!
We are so overjoyed to be welcoming Isabel to our family and want you to know that you have our heartfelt thanks.
Everytime we look at her precious face, we will think of you and your wonderful staff and know that we have you to thank for bringing this little miracle into our lives.
With all our gratitude,
Laurie and Victor F.

“Dr. Berger untied my tubes (one of them - other was too short). I conceived my son in October 2003 and am pregnant again.”
Posted May 27th, 2008
Hi, Dr. Berger -
I have teenage twin sons from previous marriage (hence tubes being tied ). You untied my tubes (one of them - the other was too short) in March of 2000. Thanks to you, I conceived my son, Ashton Hugh, in October 2003. This is a picture of him one year ago. He is now 3 yrs old. He is a smart and healthy boy.
When Ashton was 6 months old, John and I decided to start trying for tubal reversal baby #2. Three years went by and I found out I have endometriosis. We got anxious. So we did IVF with ICSI and am now pregnant with twins again. I am 36 years old and husband is 40.
I will be 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I just wanted to let you know we have 2 more babies coming and to thank you and your staff again. I am due Nov. 5 and our family is complete.
THANK YOU THANK YOU! Hope all is well. God bless!!!!
Sincerely,
Tori M.

“I had 5 pregnancies since my tubal reversal. The 5th pregnancy was successful.”
Posted May 24th, 2008
Hi Dr. Berger,
Hi, I had a tubal reversal at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center in January 2005. Since then I had 5 pregnancies - 4 were ectopics and unfortunately I lost one tube during this. However, the 5th pregnancy was successful and our baby boy Dereon was born this year on January 2, 2008 at 2:30 pm, 5lbs 10 oz. 21 inches at 2:30 PM - I thank you very much.
We traveled from Denver, Colorado to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for this procedure and stayed at the wonderful Sheraton Hotel and used the shuttle service as well. This was a very nice trip and well worth it. Thank you again. This picture is at 4 months old.
We are pleased with your work and would like to thank you again. Any questions email me anytime. Again thank you sooooooooooo much.
