“Our daughter has arrived…Our family has truly been blessed with this little girl!”
Posted July 21st, 2008
Our daughter has arrived!! Jazlyn Marie joined our family July 7th, 2008 at 12:43 pm. She weighed 8 lbs and was 20″ long. She has a head full of hair and passed all her new born tests with no concern! She was delivered via cesarean section. Recovery has been pretty smooth and it has been very nice to have all the help I have gotten.
Justin is just head over heels in love with his daughter and adjusting to all the new changes that come along with having a new born. The boys, Caden and Braden are so very proud to have a new sister added to our family! They love her and just adore her little everything.
I still look at her in such amazement that “WOW, we have our little angel here with us, what a miracle!” After two miscarriages, I was pretty much paranoid throughout this pregnancy and knew I wouldn’t stop until I was holding the newest love of my life in my arms! Our family has truly been blessed with this little girl!
We’ll keep you all updated on our little family!

“I just delivered a beautiful baby girl June 11th 2008.”
Posted July 19th, 2008
In 1999 my husband and I felt as though our family was complete so we made the decision to have a tubal ligation. Immediately following surgery I knew I had made the wrong decision and lived with it for almost 7 years. In January of 2006 we decided to explore our options and I came across Dr. Berger’s web site. I was soon scheduled for February 13th, 2006. And that is when our journey began.
I had a Pomeroy tubal ligation in 1999 and Dr. Berger was able to repair my tubes to lengths of 7 and 5.5 cm. Our experience before, during and after the procedure was absolutely amazing. The staff at CHTRC is so caring and competent!
I became pregnant the first cycle after my TR. Unfortunately, it ended in an ectopic pregnancy and I had methotrexate. I did not lose my tube. We then continued to try for a few months and I had an HSG to determine if my tubes were open. My OB sadly informed me that they had become blocked and IVF was my only option. I notified Dr. Berger and he requested to view my films. He recommended that I repeat the test. I did just that to find my tubes were wide open and I became pregnant 2 months later. Unfortunately, once again my pregnancy ended, as I miscarried at 10 weeks. My husband and I then decided to enjoy one another and put trying to conceive on the back burner and let nature take its course.
Much to our surprise, no medications, ovulation tests or procedures, I was once again pregnant. I just delivered a beautiful baby girl, Allie Marie, on June 11th 2008.
I can’t thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for their dedication and compassion. He and his staff remained in contact via emails and phone calls. I don’t know where else you could go and have such committed follow up even two + years later. They are truly amazing.
Thank you all,
Lori P.

“Our Tubal Reversal journey began on September 6, 2007 when we came to Chapel Hill hoping for our miracle.”
Posted July 17th, 2008
Thank you so much Chapel Hill for my daughter Carly who was born May 13th, 2008!
Our Tubal Reversal journey began on September 6, 2007 when we came to Chapel Hill hoping for our miracle. After a successful surgery - I left with 7 on the right and 5.5 on the left - we immediately began trying to conceive. We had two miscarriages, and began to give up hope until September 10, 2007 when I finally got another positive pregnancy test. Nine short months later we welcomed our third child and TR miracle into this world.
In life we receive no guarantee on anything; however, I will admit I felt pretty confident about the surgury after meeting Dr. Berger and his excellent staff. I will never forget the exceptional experience of having been part of Chapel Hill and receiving the gift of a second-chance. Thank you all so much for giving our family this wonderful addition!
For anyone seeking a tubal reversal - look no further than Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. You will not find a more professional, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and wonderful group of professionals that are sincerely interested in both helping woman feel whole and having a second chance at motherhood.
God Bless you all.

“Had it not been for you and your staff, Garrett would not have completed our family and been our miracle.”
Posted July 6th, 2008
My family is truly grateful for the gift that you have given to us. At the age of 22, we decided that two kids were enough and I had my tubes tied. Four years later to the day I began to regret that choice. My husband was in Iraq and he called home when I decided to spring the news to him that I wanted another baby. He was a bit puzzled but did not hesitate to agree. We searched the web far and wide until I heard about you through someone I knew. She had two TR babies because of you. I just knew that you were my answer.
One month after making that choice, on March 9th 2007 I was there in your office, with my husband still in Iraq, to get all “fixed” up. Upon his return we started trying to conceive. I was pregnant instantly; however, that ended in a tubal. I lost my right tube and was disheartened. But I did not give up. We tried again. I had a miscarriage. We kept trying - never giving up. On September 3rd, 2007, I got my third and FINAL BFP. I began the pregnancy cautiously optimistic. This was my sticky bean I had been waiting for.
April 19th, 2008, Garrett Conner was born at 36 weeks - 5lbs and 9 ozs, 21 inches long. He is a healthy, beautiful little boy who’s growing like a weed.
Had it not been for you and your staff, he would not have completed our family and been our miracle.
THANK YOU FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS AT CHAPEL HILL,
Bradley, Athena, David, Katie and Garrett A.

“Thank you again for giving us this miracle.”
Posted July 3rd, 2008
We were recently in South Carolina and I wanted so bad to drive to Chapel Hill and show Dr. Berger the miracle he helped create, but it was such a long drive. So I guess this picture will have to do. Tyler is almost 8 months now and we are so happy to have him.
Thank you again for giving us this miracle. We are letting nature take over now, with me only having 1 tube and already feeling so blessed. We decided if TR#2 happens, well then great but if not, that is ok too.
Thank you,
Ann P.

“Our healthy little miracle was born June 13th, 2008.. I’m 45 years old!”

Posted July 2nd, 2008
Our healthy little miracle, Olivia Grace, was born June 13th, 2008, weighing 8 lbs and 21 1/2 inches long. I want to make sure I mention that I’m 45 years old! I’m hoping this will give other women in their 40’s hope that it can happen.
We are so very blessed and I want to thank Dr. Berger and his staff for the care and attention I was given. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You all do make dreams come true.

“Our 5 year tubal reversal anniversary is here.”

Posted June 30th, 2008
Our 5 year tubal reversal anniversary is here. Baby #1 (Italia) is 4 and going to pre-school. Baby #2 (Jay) is three and into everything, But we would not trade it for the world.
We can’t imagine life without them, but we can certainly remember it.
Thanks again, Dr. Berger.

“Our second tubal reversal baby was born yesterday.”
Posted June 23rd, 2008
Subject: Birth report
Our second tubal reversal baby was born yesterday. He is healthy, and weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz, and measured 20″ long. A little recap: I had the reversal at 39, had a healthy baby girl at 40 and a healthy baby boy at 44 1/2.
I am sure that my experience will give hope to other women. I feel compelled to tell people who comment about my babies what I went through to get them, often to their disbelief.
Even doctors have marveled about me having two kids in my forties after having my tubes tied then untied. Here is a picture of my babies:

“We are pleased to announce the arrival of our baby girl, KaraLeena Alyssia!”
Posted June 11th, 2008
We are pleased to announce the arrival of our baby girl, KaraLeena Alyssia! She was born on May 27, 2008 at 5:09 pm, weighing seven pounds and nine ounces, and was 19 inches long. She is very healthy and beautiful.
We had our tubal reversal procedure performed by Dr. Berger on October 3, 2006, and got pregnant in December 2006, but miscarried. We tried again in the late summer of 2007 and used an ovulation kit. We were pregnant again in September 2007 and now we have our ‘lil punkin’ with us!
What a joy! What a miracle!
Thank you for EVERYTHING! God Bless!
