“I had my reversal just last year on April 12th and our daughter was born on January 14th.”

Dr. Monteith,

We will always be grateful for our little one and the miraculous work that you and Dr. Berger provide. I never imagined I would be sitting here talking about my daughter. I had my reversal just last year on April 12th and our daughter, Chloe, was just born on January 14th. It fills my heart with joy and indescribable words. I will never be able to thank you or God enough for another chance at having a baby.

Sincerely,

Christina R.

I am from Oklahoma and am in the process of scheduling my procedure and I am excited to get it done. All the questions I had for you Silvia answered. Thank you so much and any other advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

    Silvia–
I had my tubes tied for 8 years before the reversal. The drive wasn’t bad at all. It took us 2 days to get there and the same amount of time to get back. We didn’t rush it though. With the drive home we stopped often so I could get out and walk and I stayed on top of the pain medicine like they suggested. I was worn out when we got home, but nothing too bad. It was a great trip and I would do it all over again if I had to.

I just had two ? Please…1st how long had it been since u had your tubies tied an 2nd I saw you are from Texas and you drove.. was it really not that bad of a drive? I’m from Plano. Thanks

I wouldn’t worry about the pain. I think having my tubes tied was a lot more painful than having the reversal done. The staff at Chapel Hill make sure you are comfortable before you leave after surgery and make sure the pain medicine they give you is helping you after surgery no matter how many days after surgery it is. We drove out there (19 hours). The drive home wasn’t even that bad. Stopped often to walk because that helped me feel better and we just took our time coming home. Good luck to you.

Congratulations on your bundle of joy. You are not very far from where I live. I am now looking into this tubal reversal and I see lots of positive success. My only fear is pain. Is the reversal very painful or is this something I can overcome and I should just do?
