“We have our little Monteith Miracle.”

Posted 8th June, 2011

My husband and I would like to thank everyone at CHTRC for giving us a second chance. Special thanks go out to Dr. Monteith, because without his heavenly hands we would not be holding this precious little girl in our hands right now… Dr. Monteith, you will always have a special place in our hearts! We were very lucky to become pregnant a month after our surgery. I know that it is in god’s hands but he does have all of his angels working at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. We cannot thank everyone enough for all your comfort and support!

So please give yourself a pat on the back because you are all doing a wonderful thing and helping to make couples dreams come true… I know you did ours! We have our little “Monteith Miracle”.

I’m am currently 37 years old. I have been worried that my chances of getting pregnant at this age wouldn’t happen, since i’m going to have my surgery in march or april of 2012 and I will be turning 38 in may! This gives me hope. If you don’t mind me asking when you had your blood work done do you remember how much it was and where you had it done, since you are from the same area that i’m from. Congrats on your baby girl!!

God is SO good! Your story gives me SO much hope! I am currently 26 years old with 2 healthy daughters, 5 & 4. I got my tubes tied after the birth of my 4 year old. I got married May last year and I want a child with my husband. My husband and I fell pregnant 2 years ago, with my tubes tied so they burnt my remaining tube but left my ovaries! Hearing your story gives me hope and MORE faith that it is possible! Thank you SO much for sharing, and I wish the best of luck and blessings for you and your family!

Thank you Jennifer! There is hope; you just have to stay positive. We knew going to have the procedure that it was not guaranteed. It did not matter to us it was worth taking the gamble, and we are glad we did. If you are worried about your age please don’t. Good luck to you and hope to see you posting a baby picture in the future. Take care!
