“After 9 years of trying, 6 miscarriages, 2 IVF cycles and at age 43 TR was successful. I would recommend Dr. Berger to any and all considering this procedure.”

After 9 years of trying, 6 miscarriages, and 2 IVF cycles, and at age 43, we had stopped trying and had even been using the cycle method as contraception. I had gone two years without any pregnancy and I assumed that my time to have babies was over. My oldest son had a baby and I was loving the grandma role. I was giving all my baby love to my grandson now and it was fine. Then my son found out he was expecting another baby, and I was ecstatic.
Two weeks later I missed my period and thought, here comes menopause. Alas, it was not to be. The TR was successful! My son Riley was born 13 days after my granddaughter made her appearance! Riley has been such a blessing to us and I am in awe of him every day! My family is truly complete. He was worth the wait.
I still remember how nice everyone was at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and what a pleasant experience I had. I flew to Chapel Hill from Las Vegas after going through an unsuccessful IVF cycle. The doctor here advised me against TR. I was nervous at first going across the country for a medical procedure, but it was totally fine. Every one in Chapel Hill knows Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and as a patient and someone from out of town it really helps that everyone knows how and where to go.
I would recommend Dr. Berger to any and all considering this procedure. Once again, thanks Dr. Berger.

I am Lee Ann’s sister and Riley’s aunt. He is truly a blessing for our entire family. I can’t imagine him not being part of God’s good and gracious plan for Lee Ann and her husband. The joy he has brought into our lives is beyond words. Thank you to Dr. Berger for making it possible. Good luck to you Hanna. Remember God doesn’t make mistakes EVER!
Don’t lose hope. My first miscarriage was at age 38, only one of my tubes was able to be opened completely so I feel especially blessed. I have three grown sons ages 24, 23 & 23. I admit my biggest fear was having a baby with birth defects or Down Syndrome. My pregnancy was perfect, no complications whatsoever besides too much amniotic fluid in the eighth month. My Riley does have Down Syndrome, but I cannot believe the joy and happiness he has brought to me. I did not have the amniocentesis because Riley didn’t have any of the markers that they look for in ultrasounds. 90% of women that get the diagnosis of DS at 16 weeks terminate. I feel sorry for them that they would have missed out on a baby. PLEASE don’t let the fear of DS keep you from continuing to try, because I thank GOD for this boy everyday. If God is your decider, leave it up to him.
Hello Lee Ann,
Congratulations to you and your husband on your angel baby. My husband and I are considering having a tubal reversal this year or next. I’m excited and nervous but prayerful. I’m 38 years old and don’t have alot of support other than my husband. Had a TL in 2001, and disappointed that the MD convinced to have a TL. But I was wondering how you managed all this time without getting depressed. Then God bless you both with a beautiful baby. People talk about how I’m getting older, it’ll be high-risk pregnancy and the possibility of my baby having some abnormalities. Thanks for sharing your story, I’m encouraged. Take Care, Hanna
