“Dr. Monteith gave us hope and our beautiful son.”
Posted 29th October, 2010
We were very surprised to find out we were pregnant only a few weeks after the reversal. We traveled from Fl to NC because with only one tube left we were told we were not good candidates for a reversal. We had no idea at the time our report was read incorrectly by the physician we requested locally. We decided to get a second opinion and Dr Monteith gave us hope!
Without all the expertise at CHTRC we would not have our beautiful son. Thank you Dr. Monteith and all the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

More Information on Baby With Only One Tube

D – It takes longer on average to become pregnant with one tube and both ovaries than when there are two tubes. In four months, there may only have been 2 opportunities to conceived when ovulation occurred on the side of your one tube. I think more time is needed to have an adequate trial of trying to conceive. You could use an ovulation predictor kit to confirm if you are ovulating each month.
Congratulations! I thought only I had the one tube issue. I recently had tr 10/28/10, after surgery only able to unblock both tubes. I have one tube left, its now february still not pregnant any suggestions.
