Dear Dr. Berger and staff,
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Gunner Duane, Sept. 7, 2009 at 11:10am, weighing 5lbs. 12 oz. 19 inches long. Normal delivery (very fast). Gunner is doing well and so is Momma. Attached is his picture the day we brought him home. A formal announcement will be coming soon.
Our tubal reversal was May 6, 2008. We are so blessed and we wish to thank you sincerely and all your staff for making our dreams come true and providing the world with a wonderful addition.

I am 39 yrs old and had my tubes tied 8 years ago. Now, I’m divorced and engaged to be married. I had a tubal reversal in April, 2009 and still haven’t gotten pregnant yet. I’m afraid the surgery was not successful and I know my fiance wants another child.

I am 42 and recently married to a wonderful man who is also 42. He has no children and I have two wonderful sons that are in their 20’s now. I want to have my tubes untied and I am nervous that I may be to old. I would love to hear some success stories from women in my age group for encouragement.

Hi. I just turned 42 yrs old and am a newly wed. My husband is 58 1/2 and simply the love of my life. I have a 20 yr. old and had my tubes tied, burned, and clipped for 11 yrs now. I am also a grandmother (young I might add) lol. I want to have a baby with my new husband. He has one son (31) yrs of age. I am scared as I read the success rates of women my age. I am in fairly good health, as is my husband, with the exception of the fact he has hypertension, which is under control because I try to cook our food with very limited salt. I really want a baby with him but I am truly afraid. It’s been sooo many years. Is it at all possible?

I am 35 yrs old have four beautiful children (19, 18, 14 and 12). I had a tubal ligation done almost 12 years in 1997. i want to have another child. Is it possible have another child after having my tubes tied and burned for 12 yrs now?

MADELYN – It is certainly possible to have a tubal ligation reversal and have another child after having the fallopian tubes tied and burned. The length of time since your tubal ligation is not that important. Your current age is what is most important in predicting the success of repairing your fallopian tubes.

I am 45 years old had my tubal ligation 18 years ago. I am starting a new life again with a man i adore. I have 5 children from my previous marriage but my fiance has never had any children. I am in good health having no issues but being over fourty and having my tubes tied so long ago is it just a dream to want to try to have a child now? I’d really like to know what the chances of me getting pregnant after tubal ligation reversal would be.
