As long as you do not have any significant complications from high blood pressure then you could safely have out-patient tubal reversal surgery.

I had a tubal five years ago and now I'm on medication for high blood pressure. Would I be able to have tubal reverse surgery?

I still have both of my ovaries and my uterus also. I did have a surgery and they were placed back in to the position they are supposed to be.

KIMBERLY – If both of your ovaries have been removed, you have no eggs to allow fertilization. You could, however, use another woman’s eggs with treatment by donor egg IVF.

I had a tubal ligation 10 years ago. I also had a surgery to move my ovaries from behind my uterus a few years ago. I am not on any medications. Do you think I will have any chances of becoming pregnant again?

COLLEN L. – Tubal reversal can be performed after an abdominoplasty. We do this frequently. The primary risk of tubal reversal surgery is the risk of ectopic pregnancy, approximately 10 percent. At age 28, your chances of becoming pregnant within a year of the reversal is approximately 85 percent. I am at the age of 28. I had TL done about a year ago along with an abdominal plasty. Circumstances in my life have changed in the last year and I was wondering if it could be reversed and what are my risks?

There is little risk associated with your previous c-sections in having your tubes untied. If you have high blood pressure, however, it is important that your blood pressure be normal while taking your medications.

I had 3 c-sections and had my tubes tied 11 years ago, is it a bigger risk for me to have my tubes untied? I am also on medication for high blood pressure.
