I’m 32 yrs old I had my tubes tied after my last son I have three healthy boys.since then I’m with someone else now and he doesn’t have any children and we want to have our reversal done. Hi, my name is Beth. I had T.R. surgery on Nov. 2001, with Dr. Berger. I was 35 at the time and my husband was 22. 14 months later we were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl. Sydni was born sep. 19 2003 and is a true blessing to everyone – she is 5 now. We thought maybe my tubes had closed back up but for Christmas we got a very special surprise, we are pregnant again 7 weeks along and counting, and I am now 42! I have 2 older kids from a prior marriage that are Jenni, 21 and Andrew 23. They were very surprised at Christmas, but are so happy!!! God is good and he works in his time not ours, so to all who are longing for another child, go for it, but don’t forget to pray!!

Your story is wonderful. My wife is 41 and she has been married 2 times before, with 2 daughters aged 16 and 18 from her first marriage and a son aged 11 from her second – after which she had her tubes tied and burned. I also have been twice married, and I have 2 sons aged 21 and 22 from my first, and a son aged 12 from my second marriage. I and my wife stoically accepted that our third marriage together would be childless; but after both of us reading your story we have become inspired – and now determined, to have a baby together or maybe even two! So we are definitely going to try Dr Berger’s.

HI I was just reading everyone’s comments. I am very inspired by everyone. I was skeptical, but reading your comments is giving me hope. I am 38 and I have a 13 year old son.I did not want anymore kids for my x-husband so I got my tubes cut and burn back in 1999.That was the biggest mistake I made. We got divorce and I ended up meeting a wonderful guy. The only thing is he is younger then me by 7yrs. We talked about kids and he definitely wants kids. I felt sadden that I couldn’t give him kids. I knew about the tubal ligation reversal but I couldn’t really find a doctor that I was excited about so we just kind of put it too the side. We have been together for 6yrs. We just got married on October 18,2008!!!! we both have children from our previous marriages but none together. I have been thinking about it and I started looking on the websites for doctors and came across Dr. Berger’s site. I just keep reading and I felt myself getting exited and wanting to go through with it. I am hoping to have it done around January 2009. I can’t wait!!! I hope and pray that we have a bundle of joy. thank you for giving us hope.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE MARRIED WHEN I WAS 18 AND WE HAD A DAUGHTER TOGETHER AND THEN DIVORCED. I REMARRIED AND HAD 2 MORE CHILDREN AND DIVORCED AGAIN. MY 1ST HUSBAND AND I REMARRIED AFTER BEING DIVORCED FOR 12 YEARS. WE HAVE BEEN REMARRIED FOR ALMOST TEN YEARS NOW. WE HAVE NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO RAISE A CHILD TOGETHER. I AM 40 AND HE IS 47 AND WE WANT TO HAVE THE TR SURGERY BUT ARE SCARED OF HEART BREAK. HEARING YOUR TESTIMONIAL GIVES ME HOPE. I had my tubal reversal on mMarch 29, 2008. (By the way I am 43 years old.) I just had a positive HCG and then a positive test at the hospital today. God really does work miracles with the help of Dr Berger.

I had my TR on July 10th with great success. The “Dr.” said I have 5cm which is good. We haven’t gotten a positive test yet. Of course it is still early. I have been checking for my LH surge with an ovulation prediction test daily. My most fertile days should be just around the corner. We’re excited and praying with God’s help that we have a positive pregnancy test really soon. Keep us in your prayers and I will keep you posted.

Hi,

My name is Tracy and I just read your tubal reversal story. I’m also 39 years old also. Your story is very encouraging. My husband, whom is 35, had alot of doubt at first. We were supposed to have the reversal done about 3 years ago. But he had doubt it would work. I tried everything I could to convince him that it was worth the try. I was reading my Bible and came across the passage of Abraham an Sara. I stood on that passage. I have no doubt in my mind that God will bless my husband and I with our child. My operation is set for July 10th. Which is 1 week away. I’m so nervous. My husband is nervous also. He’s finally believing that it wil happen. I have 3 children from my previous marriage. Their ages are 19, 21 and 23. My husband has 1 child from a previous marriage. Her age is 18. So we’re excited about havinga child together. This will be a new experience for us since our children are all adults. We’ve already gone to the store and purchased blankets. Our children are excited also. Our daugthers are already telling me they will make me walk alot just like I made them walk during labor (lol).

I can’t wait to put our testimony on Dr. Bergeron’s website.

Thank you, my sugery is scheduled for 8/27/08 and I am 42, with three adult children and 2 grandchildren on the side….but my heart desire is a baby with my husband…this gives me so much hope…Thanks again…I know God is able.

Yes, it does! I will have my surgery in August. I am 34 with a 15-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter. I had my tubes cut and burned when I was 22 thinking I would never want another child, because I already had two at such a young age. I have felt this way for 13 years, until I met my fiancé who is 40 with no children. I pray to God this works. I am terrified and excited all in one. Your story is definitely an inspiration for me also!

Your story gives me hope. I had my tubal reversal with Dr. Berger yesterday the 23rd of June 2008, and am recovering and hope to be pregnant by September. I am 40 yrs old and your story inspires me that at the age of 40 you had a baby and now at 44 another beautiful child. I have five girls had my tubes tied after my fifth, thinking I would be with my husband forever, but as I have learned there isnt a forever. But my new partner doesnt have children and we both wanted a baby, so we came down to North Carolina and had the surgery and looking forward to being pregnant soon. Thanks for your story. Liz Bryant
